Born in Los Angeles and raised in a Mexican-Guatemalan household, I have always dreamed of making a difference in my community.

First as a teacher and now as a writer, my cultural heritage offers relatable characters, and whimsical language with rich storylines. Because each child deserves to see themselves reflected in books.
